We make a lot of joomla / wordpress templates for clients - open source CMS provide an amazing foundation to build beautiful & functional sites, not to mention the fact they can be fully loaded with apps and mobile optimisation. The future of the web it seems is bright, functional and super smooth - however it’s not all that simple.

Social media makes super injunctions, super useless?

Having just rebuilt the site - I am not especially time rich, so the blog is just a short and sadly for this week an imageless one. I really hate the concept of the super-injunction - to me it’s just a cowardly escape route for unsavoury celebs, who apparently are private individuals who deserve privacy and respect, because well, they say they do - in spite of the fact they will do pretty much anything to get famous, or have their picture in some pointless magazine, privacy is the number one concern for today’s private celebrity.

The whole 'Keep Calm & Carry On' thing has exploded recently, it’s a classic design and its clear to see why it is so popular - firstly it is a beautifully simple graphic - bizarrely its very on trend for today’s graphic design subtlety, considering it was created in 1939 - however this simply adds to its endearing nature - it represents our own history and a certain British stiff upper lipness that is becoming ever more diluted - it allows people to feel British without any stigma.
